In 2015, it was reorganized into the Global Center for Medical Engineering and Informatics and has gone through major developments since. 　　The mission of MEI Center is to train human resources using an interdisciplinary approach that both connects and expands the fields of engineering, information science and medical care. We have specifically contributed to the development of human resources and the exchange of information through our programs that include the Medical Device Design Course, expert training courses in cell manufacturing design for Regenerative Medicine Engineering, and various seminars organized by MEI Center. Moreover, since last year, MEI Center started advocating a Sustainable Ecosystem approach as its ideal model. 　　In this way, the education system of MEI Center cultivates an international vision and advanced knowledge of medical engineering information in human resources, enabling them to form communities, exchange information, and conduct new medical research. Subsequently, the needs of human resources would increase and we expect that the Sustainable Ecosystem will expand into a recycling-oriented organization. If this works, we believe that MEI Center will overcome many future challenges and that MEI Center would create new eras. 　　We appreciate the efforts of the many predecessors who were involved in MEI Center, and with the guidance and encouragement of those involved, we will realize our goals for a Sustainable Ecosystem.
